Miscellaneous subjects.
newFamilySearch is the newest genealogy program. It is a complete online internet based genealogy program. The program was developed and issued by the Family History Department of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It is being made available to LDS Church Members In time it will be available to the general public. Since it is online, all members researching a family line can see and share information.
In December 2009 an alternative way of viewing family information was added to newFamilySearch and the method for submitting individuals for ordinances was changed. These changes are not reflected in the videos on newFamilySearch.

Internet research gives you access to genealogy data that is available over the internet. At the present time Ancestry.com is the most complete internet genealogy site but it is not free. There are others that are both free and helpful.
